Emer is an experienced engineer having worked on development projects within the automotive industry, on material characterisation and analysis, and new technology methods concerning advanced materials manufacture and design. After completing her BEng in Aeronautical Engineering at Queens University Belfast, she worked as a Design Engineer for Wrightbus before undertaking an MSc in Advanced Composites and Polymers at Ulster University. She returned to QUB to complete a PhD in Aerospace Engineering within the Advanced Composites Research Group, where she subsequently worked as a Research Fellow for two years, before taking up her current post at Artemis Technologies.
