Exclusive Tour

The conference included an exclusive tour of Sigmatex’s UK headquarters in Runcorn, a global leader in carbon fibre textile innovation. Established in 1986, the modern purpose-built facility showcased cutting-edge technologies, including proprietary tow spreading and a visual quality cell, alongside multiaxial, Spread Tow and Flat Tow manufacturing capabilities. The site also holds key industry accreditations, including AS9100D, DNV and IATF 16949. As Sigmatex’s principal European manufacturing facility, the 110,000 sq ft site has been at the forefront of high-performance composite materials innovation for nearly 40 years.
