Ali Aravand

Ali Aravand is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast. His research focuses on the design and optimisation of fibre-reinforced composites, thermoplastic composite overmoulding, and the fracture and interface behaviour of polymer composites. He leads industry collaborations across the aerospace and automotive sectors.
