SAMPE UK & Ireland Annual Seminar 2021

Progressing from the Pandemic

The SAMPE UK & Ireland Chapter has organised an annual Seminar for many years and these have addressed all aspects of the design, manufacture, and applications of advanced composites.

Our usual format is not viable in today’s pandemic conditions and we have decided to host a virtual event in March 2021.

The Seminar title is: Composites- Progressing from the Pandemic and we have invited leading speakers to talk about how their companies have developed their products or their technology to emerge in good shape from the pandemic. These will be supported by presentations featuring  advanced composites technology.

The Seminar will comprise in summary:

• Split over 2 days: Afternoon of 10^th March and Morning 11^th March
• Relaxed programme with 11 invited speakers – maximum of 2 speakers in a session
• Proven software platform gives good capability for delegates, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors to engage together.

SAMPE is a member- focused Society and we have decided to offer members participation in the Seminar free of charge. Non-members are welcome to join us if they join SAMPE as part of the registration process, find the online registration here. The software platform will remain open for 3 months after the Seminar dates and members will be able to register after the event for access to the presentations and chat rooms.

SAMPE is the global society for the Advanced Material and Processing community and offers networking opportunities, meetings, seminars, technical information as well as the famed SAMPE Journal.
