Peter Quigley is a composites engineer with a long history in industrially focused Research and Development and manufacturing. His career has spanned Aerospace, Automotive and Defence sectors, with specialisms in large scale resin infusion, high volume / low cycle time manufacture, Thermoplastic composites and more recently bio-composites. He recently co/founded Athena Blue Innovation, helping companies to develop their technologies, navigate the maze of innovation support and apply design thinking to conceptual design. He has a passion for innovation and an ambition to see the emergence of a thriving bio-materials economy in the UK and Ireland.
He joined the UK & Ireland Chapter committee when hosting the SAMPE UK and Ireland Chapter Seminar in Belfast in 2023.
His favourite cocktail is a Margarita, straight up, half salted rim, must use Cointreau not TripleSec!
