Alasdair Ryder is a mechanical engineer with almost 30 years’ experience in the composites and advanced manufacturing sector. He has held positions at GKN Aerospace, Matra Marconi Space, British American Racing and Advanced Composites Group. Notable areas of work include automated deposition of thermoset prepreg material and thermoplastic overmoulding.
He joined the UK & Ireland Chapter committee for professional networking, shortly after the SAMPE Europe Conference (2017) in Southampton and now serves as Treasurer and Membership Secretary.
