After studying at the University of Nottingham and Cranfield University, I worked in advanced composites with British Aerospace and Cobham in technical and then leadership roles for the design, manufacture, and test of high-performance radomes, retiring in 2010.
I joined SAMPE European Chapter in 1984 and then in 1985 was nominated to join SAMPE Europe’s committee. In 1992- 93, I was President of SAMPE’s European Chapter.
Since retirement in 2010, I have been an active member of the SAMPE UK & Ireland Chapter; Secretary from 2012 to 2023 and deeply involved with the organisation of many of our events.
